Portrait :

This Sydney native has already logged over 20,000 offshore nautical miles in his short career. He has been offshore sailing for the past eight years. He says his motivation is "going through life giving 100% to every opportunity handed to me." He said he has been wanting to race the Volvo Ocean Race since he was a child. "I get a lot out of life because I put everything I have into succeeding in everything I try." Phil is also a sail maker and avid sportsman.
